Advent: Joseph Listens

Bible Text: Matthew 1:18-25 | Preacher: Pastor Mark Verbruggen | Series: Advent | On this fourth Sunday in the season of Advent we will again listen to the story that gives sense and meaning to all the holiday festivities. In our reading from Matthew 1:18-25 the angel visits Joseph in a dream. He is told some incredible things that are not easy to believe about Mary and the child she is carrying. Joseph will have to lay aside his fear and pride in order to fulfill his calling in the gospel of Jesus Christ.
